Case study

DG Portfolio

Dominika Głuszkowska is a Senior Graphic Designer. She creates campaign imagery with AI, designs for e-commerce and builds brand identities. Working from her visual design, I built the new version of her portfolio in Polish and English and led the project from collecting her work to launching the site on her own domain.

Brief

Dominika needed a portfolio presenting four areas of her work: AI campaign imagery, e-commerce design, branding, and AI and automation in the design process. The site is structured as chapters, each on its own subpage: Campaign, E-commerce, Branding, AI & Automation and Next Chapter, followed by a contact section. The whole site is available in Polish and English.

The visual design is Dominika’s. I turned it into a working website and was responsible for the rest of the project, from the concept to the launch. I also built the earlier versions of her portfolio, in 2020 and 2025.

Process

The project ran in six stages, from the visual design to a live site on her own domain.

  1. As the designer, Dominika chose the visual design and the typefaces.
  2. I collected the assets from Dominika: the work and the photographs the site was to present.
  3. Based on her design and choice of typefaces, I developed and proposed a concept for the solution: the layout, the story the site tells, the structure of its subpages and the contact section.
  4. In a meeting we went through each professional category in turn, following the site’s tabs: Campaign, E-commerce, Branding, AI & Automation and Next Chapter. For each one, Dominika described what she did, what she focused on and which tools she used. We recorded the meeting, and the recording was transcribed and edited by AI for the site.
  5. Dominika reviewed and approved the content.
  6. I deployed the site and connected it to Dominika’s domain.

For the client

I was responsible for the entire technical side of the project. Dominika’s site:

  • loads quickly and is easy to browse on a phone,
  • is available in Polish and English and opens in the visitor’s language,
  • is prepared for search engines: every subpage has its own title and description in both languages,
  • runs securely on my own server, under her own domain.

Outcome

The project did not need a copywriter. The copy on the site is Dominika’s own story, told in her own words and carefully edited: from what she did in each area to the tools she used. A single process took the project from her assets to a live site at dominikagluszkowska.com.
